About Brun del Ré

Since 2008, Brun del Ré Cigars has carried forward a legacy rooted in European heritage and tradition.

Founded by Carlo Corazza, the brand was created to honor and revive the historical lineage and family values of the European royal house Brun del Ré. A name that reflects generations of culture, refinement, and appreciation for the rituals that define a distinguished lifestyle.

The family’s connection to tobacco dates back centuries to the region of Friuli, Italy, where tobacco cultivation and trade became an integral part of the family heritage. In this region, a deep appreciation for Havana cigars developed among local gentlemen, shaping a tradition of craftsmanship, patience, and refined taste that would be preserved across generations.

Over time, this tradition evolved beyond Europe and found new expression in Costa Rica, a country recognized worldwide for producing exceptional tobacco and for its community of highly skilled cigar artisans.

Today, Brun del Ré cigars are handcrafted in Costa Rica using carefully selected tobaccos and time-honored techniques perfected through generations of cigar making. Each cigar is meticulously supervised by expert master blenders and by the owners themselves, ensuring the consistency, character, and complexity that define the brand.

For Brun del Ré, cigar making is not simply a process. It is a ritual of patience, heritage, and craftsmanship.
